Broken iPhone prompts 5 calls to police

A man from Illinois must have surely learnt his lesson after being arrested for calling 911 to report to the officers on duty that his Iphone was broken.  He was later arrested during the night and charged for obstructing and resisting a peace officer and for misdemeanor.  It still remains unclear as to why he called the officers and what exactly he was expecting them to do following this call.

Michael Alan Skopec aged 48 phone them five times during the night and when the officers arrived at his place on the 200 block of Swanson Ln. in Kendall Country just before 1 a.m, he was in an inebriated state.  Charges for disorderly conduct are being held against him regarding.

The mystery still remains as to what Skopec was trying to achieve by calling 911 to report his dysfunctional smart phone!
