Drunk Wheelchair Driving

An 84 year old man who was visibly drunk took to the road in his wheelchair on Saturday evening in the Southern Norwegian town of Porsgrunn. After passing through a tunnel of 184 metres he decided to take the same tunnel again on his way back and was stopped by two motorists who then called the police. He was arrested for driving the wrong way down a highway in his electric wheelchair.

Sacked after being tricked into putting an electronic tag on a criminal’s prosthetic leg

Two security firm workers were sacked after they were tricked into putting an electronic tag on a criminal’s prosthetic leg.  Christopher Lowcock aged 29 wrapped his false leg in bandage and lied to the security workers who failed to carry out the proper tests when they were setting up the tag and monitoring equipment in Rochdale, England where the criminal resides. 

By fooling the G4S security officers, the criminal was able to breach certain rules and regulations as well as court imposed curfews by simply removing his leg and doing whatever he wanted.  A second G4S officer also failed to carry out the proper tests when he went to check the monitoring equipment. 

When the management got suspicious last month, they went for a site visit at the criminal’s place and they were surprised to find that he was already back into custody for driving illegally.  A spokesperson for G4S claims that given the critical nature of this service and the problems that may arise for not respecting the strict procedures, it was considered that the staff members had committed a serious professional blunder and was therefore dismissed from the company.

KitKat Fish

Have you ever heard of a fish which was addicted to chocolate and ate nothing but Kit Kats? Meet Gary-he is a 4 kilogram, 40cm long gourami fish who lives at the Sea Life London Aquarium and sadly he used to be a chocoholic.  The good news however is that staff members have managed to curb this addiction and have moved the fish onto a healthier diet. 

The staff members report that when they just inherited the fish, they were surprised to find out that the fish did not eat anything and they later found out that the previous owners raised their fish on Kit Kats only.  One way of getting the fish to eat other food was by inserting Kit Kat pieces into grapes and gradually introducing the fish to other food.  It is believed that the fish did not suffer from any negative health effects from this addiction but it remains a quite surprising thing to find a fish that normally feeds on a diet of fruits which has been fed chocolates its entire life.

Now this is definitely a new concept and perhaps a very weird one was well.  A nature park in China which is displaying simple and pure flowers is giving free entry and prizes to virgin females who are aged 22 and above.  The rules are such that women who are still a virgin are granted free access to the Zhoulou Scenic resort which is reputed for its magnificent waterfall views and lovely flowers. 

You may be wondering how the officials are to check the virginity of the visitors in order to grant them free access-if you are thinking that visitors will have to provide medical proof of their virginity, you are wrong.  The Hunan province officials are simply relying on the honesty of the visitors and going with the honor system!

Celebrity Cow in Austria

It has been reported that a "cow whisperer", infrared cameras and helicopters are on the hunt for a runaway Austrian cow named Yvonne, who escaped slaughter in May this year to seek refuge in a Bavarian forest.

The cow has now become a star in the Germany and Austria media, having evaded capture for almost three months, the leading newspaper in Germany's, called Bild, has now offered up to 10,000 euro ($13,892) reward for the Cow's capture earlier this week. But on the Cow's side there is an Austrian animal sanctuary, which has offered to purchase Yvonne to spare her life.

ADOLF Hitler purchased blow-up dolls for his army because so many contracted STD's from prostitutes, The Sun has reported. Archived records tell that Nazi scientists developed the "synthetic comforters" for German soldiers who were often hustling in Paris.

The issue was so intense it was keeping many of the troops from their frontline army duties. The World War Two project began in 1940 after SS chief Heinrich Himmler wrote, "The greatest danger in Paris is the widespread and uncontrolled presence of whores, picking up clients in bars, dance halls and other places. It is our duty to prevent soldiers from risking their health for the sake of a quick adventure." Hitler personally approved the plan for the blonde and blue-eyed "gynoid" dolls, which were small enough to fit into a backpack. They were tested by soldiers in Nazi-occupied Jersey. Himmler was so impressed he ordered 50 for his own troops.

But in 1942 the project was halted when German soldiers refused to carry the dolls because of the potential embarrassment if they were captured by the enemy. Author Graeme Donald uncovered Hitler's secretive "Borghild Project" while researching the history of Barbie, which was based on a postwar German sex doll. He said, "In the end the idea fizzled out and the place where they were made and all the dolls were destroyed in the bombing of Dresden."
