Motorized Sofa

Parmalat’s new motorized sofa which was powered by a Suzuki GSX 1400 motorcycle engine and comprised a two-seater in leather along with a handy coffee table has set a new world record of 163km/h on the runway at Camden Airport.  The previous record was set by Marek Turowsk from Britain whose home furnishings had a speed of 148km/h in 2008.

The new Guinness Book of World Records sofa set was designed by a team of race car and bike designers, Evolution Motorsport for Ice Break Parmalat from Syndey.
